So much upper New England going on here... Let me guess, you live in either Maine, NH, Vermont, New Brunswick or possibly Nova Scotia. (Has the Internet even reached Nova Scotia yet?)

All hail rhubarb. Wife makes a rhubarb strawberry crisp that is crazy killer. Sadly it only comes around for such a sort time and I now live in NC (previously western nc) and these folks barely know of rhubarb here.

I prefer my custard poured over a rhubarb pie or even better, rhubarb crumble with hot custard poured over it.

Cool. I’m pretty sure rhubarb is uncommon south of NH/VT and west of the St. Lawrence. I have an aunt who lives in Nova Scotia and puts rhubarb in everything. She greets us with some concoction of rhubarb juice and Sprite. Lots of rhubarb deserts. Meanwhile growing up not too far away in PA, I never really saw it.
